How does counselling work? 

Counselling provides a safe and confidential environment to share your struggling issues and receive the professional support you need. Together, we will work to address the issues causing you distress and ease your suffering.  

Open communication within our therapeutic relationship will ensure that you feel on track to create powerful change to achieve your dreams and reach your goals. 

What is the counsellor role? 

My role is to help and guide my clients to cultivate more awareness in their lives and discover their innate wisdom and capacity for growth and healing. During the sessions, I will gather information relevant to the current experience you are facing and collaborate with you to identify suited therapeutic goals and plans.

What is the client role? 

Each session will be your safe and confidential space to share, with skilful guidance, any thoughts, feelings, emotions, and memories causing you pain. It will be your time to be heard with empathy and compassion. Most importantly, it will be your time to listen to your inner being.

Which counselling approach will be used? 

We can sometimes become stuck in old habits, cycles, patterns, and fears that do not serve us anymore. They get in the way of authentic and meaningful connections with ourselves and others, keeping us from feeling inner peace and happiness. Using a holistic, client-centred, and collaborative counselling approach, I will support you to skillfully navigate through the suffering and difficulties that life brings and connect with your resiliency for emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.

How long is a counselling session? 

1-hour

    • Several weeks, months or longer in some cases

  • Process unwanted thoughts and remove any limiting beliefs that stop you from living your desired life
  • Provide a listening ear, deep understanding of the issue and rewiring to a supportive and empowering mind
  • One to three sessions per issue
